Gay marriage

Today Obama announced that he no longer supports the Defense of Marriage Act. He believes that it is unconstitutional. The act, DOMA, makes it legal for states to choose not to recognize gay marriages that have taken place in other states.

  1. I just simply do not support gay marriages. Our country was founded on principles, and have broken them and watered them down to the point that we are nothing near what the forefathers had in mind.

  3. I live in Canada where Gay marriage is allowed, and it isn't so bad. None of my business what two consenting adults do behind closed doors.

  4. Seriously, I'm not intolerant to gays or anything like that, but I don't approve of gay marriage. It just seems wrong on so many levels.

  8. gay marriage its legal in my country and in absolutely ok with that..in fact i think its an hypocrisy to say that marriage is a sacred bond or that kind of crap with all the mess straight people are doing with it..ruining their kids lives and their own with pretty reckless decisions and lack of mutual understanding..

  10. No issue here with gays being allowed to marry and receive some of the benefits of marriage that normal couples can. I mean really who does it hurt when gay folks decide to get married? If anything its more money for the state/country since they have to pay a fee to be registered as a married couple
